In-Patient Hospitalization:

This covers expenses when you’re admitted to a hospital for at least 24 hours.

It includes room charges (single standard AC room/cabin), doctor and nurse fees, operation theater costs, and expenses for diagnostic tests, medicines, blood, and medical appliances.
Day Care Procedures:

Recognizing advancements in medical technology, the policy covers approximately 150 specific treatments and procedures that may not require a full 24-hour hospitalization.

This coverage applies even when the procedure is done with local anesthesia.
Pre- and Post-Hospitalisation Coverage:

It includes medical expenses incurred in the 30 days before hospitalization (pre-hospitalization) and the 30 days after hospitalization (post-hospitalization).
